Cat
Cat's Comprehensive Christmas Quiz Created by Cat @ Mrs Survival, 2010 I did this one last year and I think everyone was just too busy to try it as a quiz. So this year I've designed it more as something you can print off to use as a Christmas-related activity. This is a multi-part Christmas quiz. Many quizzes have only the same ones over and over, but I’ve brought in some of the more modern carols and songs, as well as some from movies and television. And then there’s a section for the really “different” and unique ones, too. Some of them were culled from the internet (some revised, some left the same) and many I created myself. I have tried to divide them according to what I think is the most logical divisions. The ones that were sung as “Christmas songs” when most of us were children I considered “traditional”, especially the ones sung in churches. But then “Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer” is now so closely tied to his television special that I included it there, although it was around first as a story, and was a song by 1948. I apologize ahead of time if you disagree with my divisions… it's ONLY FOR FUN! TIPS: *There are no duplicates. Where there are 2 possible titles for the same song, I added them both. *I used the actual title. “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire” is the first line, NOT the title. *Be aware that there are some songs that are very similar, so if they look that way, pay close attention to each word… there are clues. *All are Christmas, although New Year’s Day may pop up. There are none for other religious holidays in this quiz. *Helpful link: http://dictionary.reference.com/ If you want to print them off for others to do, copy and paste the sections you want (or all) *before* clicking on the spoiler to expose the answer. Then click all the spoilers and print *that* to give you the answer key.
