The asparagus is ready in the garden, but very small. The bacon from our neighbor's pig is extra thick. I showed my little brother how healthy I've been eating. He reckoned it to a salad wrapped in ice cream.  :laughkick:

DH's favorite is bacon wrapped asparagus. I make it around once a week.  

Wrap around 5 spears of asparagus with thick cut bacon.   Spiral it up the whole stalks from bottom to top.   Place in greased casserole dish.  top with teriyaki sauce and minced garlic.  Bake 400F 30/40m or so to cook bacon.  Serve.
