  3. For those who don't know, this is acetaminophen (Tylenol).
  4. Our Ace Hardware store carries gaskets and pressure plugs. Have you tried any of yours?
  5. Found this online: HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN HAND SANITIZER Ingredients: 2/3-cup rubbing alcohol (99% isopropyl alcohol) 1/3-cup aloe vera gel. Directions: Add the alcohol to the aloe vera gel and stir. Using a funnel, pour the mixture into a pump bottle – you can use cleaned soap bottles for instance, or you can find inexpensive pump bottles at dollar stores. If you have empty store-bought hand sanitizer bottles, you can use those. ************* Here is a second recipe if you want to add essential oils to your lotion. Some oils will add a boost of protection and most all of them add a nice scent. Hand sanitizer with essential oils Ingredients: 2/3 cup 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 1/3 cup aloe vera gel 8-10 drops essential oil. (Lemongrass, eucalyptus, peppermint and orange oils, are effective against 22 bacterial strains.) Directions: Mix the ingredients together and pour it into a pump bottle using a funnel.
  6. When you hover over the top left corner of the quote box a square with arrows in it will appear. Click on it then you can delete it. If you click on the outermost box it will also delete all boxes within it,
  7. Here is the protocol you will find at the link above:
  8. You've certainly had a rough go of it for a while. I'm glad it all worked out and you have found your way "home." Welcome back.
  9. I don't know if this will actually work, but it might be worth a try - it's certainly cheap enough!
  10. You must have looked even crazier than I (or anyone else here) imagined when you were in the street directing traffic!!!
  11. I'm pretty sure that the vid I posted by Dr Berry talks about this. I remember him saying that the hand "sanitizer" is NOT sufficient and that you must use soap and water. Don't really remember what he said about surfaces though.
  12. Started with a snake, went to a bat. Bat was made into soup. Customer ate soup. Virus is now circulating among humans. :/ See the "other" post for videos and article links.
  13. Check out SeriousKeto on YouTube. He has lots of chaffle recipes.
  14. CORONAVIRUS: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR What is this virus? The virus has been identified as a new type of coronavirus. Coronaviruses are a large family of pathogens, most of which cause mild respiratory infections such as the common cold. But coronaviruses can also be deadly. SARS, or severe acute respiratory syndrome, is caused by a coronavirus and killed hundreds of people in China and Hong Kong in the early 2000s. Can it kill? Yes. Eighty-one people have so far died after testing positive for the virus. What are the symptoms? Its symptoms are typically a fever, cough and trouble breathing, but some patients have developed pneumonia, a potentially life-threatening infection that causes inflammation of the small air sacs in the lungs. People carrying the novel coronavirus may only have mild symptoms, such as a sore throat. They may assume they have a common cold and not seek medical attention, experts fear. How is it detected? The virus's genetic sequencing was released by scientists in China to the rest of the world to enable other countries to quickly diagnose potential new cases. This helps other countries respond quickly to disease outbreaks. To contain the virus, airports are detecting infected people with temperature checks. But as with every virus, it has an incubation period, meaning detection is not always possible because symptoms have not appeared yet. How did it start and spread? The first cases identified were among people connected to the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan. Cases have since been identified elsewhere which could have been spread through human-to-human transmission. What are countries doing to prevent the spread? Countries in Asia have stepped up airport surveillance. They include Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines. Australia and the US are also screening patients for a high temperature, and the UK announced it will screen passengers returning from Wuhan. Is it similar to anything we've ever seen before? Experts have compared it to the 2003 outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). The epidemic started in southern China and killed more than 700 people in mainland China, Hong Kong and elsewhere. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-7935167/Deadly-coronavirus-outbreak-DID-start-animal-market-Wuhan-tests-confirm.html
  15. Jan 28, 2020 Deadly coronavirus outbreak DID start at the wild animal meat market in Wuhan where snakes, rats, beavers, foxes, wolf cubs and peacocks are caged and slaughtered to order, tests confirm. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-7935167/Deadly-coronavirus-outbreak-DID-start-animal-market-Wuhan-tests-confirm.html
  16. A few more vids: https://www.peakprosperity.com/coronavirus/?fbclid= (you MAY get a "warning for this link, so here is some info from it): Wuhan coronavirus may have been transmitted to people from snakes Jan 22, 2020 A new coronavirus that has claimed 17 lives in Wuhan, China, may have been transmitted to people from snakes, according to a genetic analysis. The snakes may have caught the virus from bats in the food market in which both animals were sold. According to the WHO’s guidance document on pandemics, this new coronavirus is already well on its way to being a full-blown pandemic: We are already at Phase 4. Things get really serious at Phases 5 & 6. “It’s Contained!” Early reports on the media have been underselling the severity. This is expected. For some reason governments across the world long ago decided that ‘not panicking’ people was more important than providing timely, accurate, risk-balanced information. The straight-up lying about the Fukushima disaster was one example. China lied like crazy about the SARS outbreak a number of years ago. And they’re certainly being less than fully revealing about this outbreak. Conclusion We’re going to be tracking this on an hourly basis. Wherever you live you should be taking standard precautions right now. Stock up on food, get yourself proper face masks, and be prepared should you need to be locked down for days/weeks. The chance of that happening in your country may yet be small (for now), but it’s well above zero. So, don’t screw around with this one. This is the most serious pandemic-worthy risk we’ve come across since SARS. Of course, as we’ve long advised, you should always be prepared for such an event anyway as part of being a prudent adult. My own personal remedy kit includes a hefty supply of elderberry syrup which I make from dried berries. You can buy it as well. For those who are scientifically-minded there are numerous peer-reviewed, double blind studies showing that elderberry syrup has pronounced anti-viral activities. See here and here as well as here. No, elderberry syrup does not prevent one from getting the flu or a cold. But it does knock the symptoms in half, and it reduces the recovery time by half which means it gives you much better odds: 50% x 50% = 25% With only a quarter of the ‘experience’ a patient has a much better chance for survival, I figure. I have no idea if it works on this coronavirus, but elderberry syrup has prevented me from getting a full-blown flu or any serious cold for more than a decade. I swear by it. Beyond that, your best chance of avoiding catching something involves staying away from people, washing your hands fastidiously, wearing a mask when you have to be around others, properly shaming those idiots who proudly show up to events/work sick and coughing, not touching public surfaces (railings, knobs, etc), and never, ever wiping your eyes or touching your nose or mouth before washing your hands.
  17. Sorry y'all. I should have warned you about the *F* bombs, but this vid addresses TWO concerns: Dr. Berry's vid said this particular virus can be transmitted between animals and humans. This vid points out a POSSIBLE point of origin - Bat Soup! It also addresses the wackiness of "the earth can't sustain us" position, AND the movement against eating meats, etc. This vid also takes on cow farts being "responsible" for "climate change." So, all in all, I think it is worth watching. Try your best to "ignore" his favorite adjective and concentrate on the WHAT of his content. (It also helps - a lot - if you turn on the CC so you can SEE what he is saying and concentrate on the facts before you.)
  18. Got this message when I used the "Open in new Tab" option in the Comedy thread. It was the only one that gave me problems - all the other postings opened just fine.
