Good afternoon!
Bo and I walked first.
Put sweet potato slices in the oven to dehydrate for dogs.
Walked both dogs.
Sprayed yard for weeds.
I'm pretty much done for the day, so I will find something else to do.

i have help with cleaning, also.  Every other month and I clean in between.  I just don't do as good a job as she does.  $80 for about 2.5-3 hours.  Of course, this is Mississippi.  A lot of rates are lower here, just have to get them to the house.

I hope the orthopedic consult goes well for your DS @Necie  

@Jeepers, I'm so glad that your stomach issues are "passing"!  And that you have someone pinned down to take care of your yard!

DH said this morning that he didn't want to jump the gun, but he thinks the antibiotic is already working!  That is really good news!

Ceftazadine is what DH is on for 3 weeks. Twice a day/ in a large syringe instead of a plastic ball. Much faster!

Home health was here at 8 am for first visit.
Walked this morning.
Went to store for DH- yogurt.
Next, I will slice some thawed figs in half and dehydrate them.  Back to working on cleaning freezers.

I hope your tilt table test goes well, @Jeepers.  That is pretty fast to get an appt. set.

Glad your GS set up the last wood rack for you @Littlesister.  Another chore completed (soon).

Today, Bo and I will walk after his breakfast.
I will thaw and dehydrate figs. Gotta get started on the freezers again.
Nothing else planned.

The welcome home party was fun last night!  Way too much food.  That's what happens when Baptist women throw a party!

@Jeepers, I'm so glad that you got the 30,000 figured out!  That would have been a huge loss for you and having to borrow.  

@Mt_Rider, I'm glad that you are progressing organizing!

@Becca_Anne, Yay for your food forest!  Sounds like you are making progress!

Made Smokies wrapped in bacon with brown sugar.
Walked dogs.
Next, making Pecan pie dip to serve with vanilla wafers.
Party this evening for my Military friend who just came home from Kuwait.

DH's appt. yesterday went well.  He was very well behaved (and so was the doc).  Didn't yell at each other or anything!  He won't have to go to the hospital for infusion every day for 3 weeks.  He will get IV antibiotics at home as we have done before.  Getting a referral for infectious disease doc.  I think he will be more on top of the infection in his lungs.  Just waiting for VA and docs to coordinate and start the process for home care, etc.

Not planting much this year.  So much going on and I might not be around as much.  We will see.

I have two lick tubs with Surinam Cherries.

Three lick tubs of tomatoes--2 with starts and one that I sliced an heirloom tomato in and covered lightly with soil.

One tub of spinach and one tub of beets.

It's not much and I don't feel overwhelmed yet.

I sure hope that you can get your GS to study and pass that test @Littlesister.  That would be a load off you!

Bo and I walked earlier.
Paid bills.
Will walk Aninja in a few minutes.
Will take DH to town for pulmonology appt. this afternoon. Need to ask why he wants to put DH on an antibiotic that didn't work before. Not sure how this will go today.

Next, I will plant tomato starts, spinach and some Surinam Cherry seeds.
Then, fire up the grill!

I wish we could  get him  started  @Jeepers. VA process  takes  time.

Today, I walked first.
Cleaned at Church.
Will make burgers and prep brats -slice and add string cheese and wrap with bacon- to grill tomorrow.
I have help coming to move lick tubs filled with dirt. Planting tomorrow.

Yesterday, I didn't walk. Yikes!
Had to get teeth cleaned first thing in the morning and then took friend to thrift shop and Walmart.
Still waiting to hear from VA and docs to get DH's IV antibiotics started.

Cleaned baths and dusted house.
Walked Aninja and Bo around property.
Got meat out to thaw- cooking out tomorrow.
Bible study tonight.

Bo got his first bath yesterday. At least from me. He is not a fan, but got through it well enough.

Yesterday, we tried to deal with DH's IV antibiotics, but his culture came back with something not seen before so he had to repeat it. We are hoping that it will come back and IV antibiotics can be arranged before he ends up in the hospital.

Walked first this morning.
Went to salvage grocery store and then quick doc appt. follow up for me.
Came back and worked at my friend's little cafe for a couple of hours.
Taking it easy the rest of the day.

At last! An at home day!
Will walk soon and take Bo with me. He went with me yesterday and did fine. Got to meet several folks on the way. He will be socialized.
Later, laundry.
Work on shed.
I love at home days!

It's difficult to get caught up and stay caught up this month.

New pup (Bo) is now starting to play with the cat. That is a major improvement! He has such a sweet demeanor!

Went to a musical program at the college Saturday eve with a friend. It was great!
Went to town with friend, yesterday and hit Aldi and Walmart and TSC.

@Mt_Rider, I don't know how I missed about you all going to Maui, but I did.  Have a great time!  Looking at the list of disasters you have been around, I am dubbing you the Jim Cantori of ecological disasters!  LOL

We have been really busy, lately. Still walking, of course. We adopted a Chihuahua/ Feist male dog, yesterday. From a shelter in Brookhaven. Looks a little like Oreo, but much smaller and wonderful disposition!
Still intend to spray weeds this afternoon. That will take a while!

I didn't think about the jeeps @Jeepers.  One is 1998 and the other is 2001.  They have lots of miles!
