  6. That does sound like an unusual day @Mt_Rider! And not easy! I hope the installation of your heart monitor goes smoothly @Jeepers! Will walk when it gets light. Going to pick the kids up at the train station about 10:30 this morning. After they unload luggage, we have to go to Lowes for paint supplies and daughter and I go to Walmart. Just visit and relax in the afternoon!
  7. You all are so busy, it makes my head spin! Will walk in a few minutes. Already washed rugs and have sheets in the washer. Next dog blankets. Later, will re-arrange bedrooms for incoming family. They will be here tomorrow!
  8. And you have so much to do @Mt_Rider! Beautiful art work @Annarchy! Easy day for me. Will walk in a few minutes. Give remaining small dog a bath. Go to my friends Birthday party with the ice cream cake that I made, yesterday. Nothing on my list to do when I get home. Yay
  9. Me too, euphraysne. I think I should be a proof reader. Will walk first, today. Pick up my friend and take her for a haircut and style for her Birthday gift. Come home and make an ice cream cake for her party, tomorrow. Bake chicken tenders with buffalo sauce for dinner.
  10. Our winter has been above normal temps, also. Fine with me. I hope you get through your storm with minimal disruptions, Mt Rider! Will walk in a few minutes. Cleaning both outside porches today. Clean out and re-organize linen closet. Cook something for dinner later. We did have Oreo put down, yesterday. It was very hard! We were both concerned that he would cause harm to one of us or the family coming down. Still very difficult and sad!
  11. Praying for you two with your storms @Mt_Rider! You have the wild life! LOL Up early and will walk in a few minutes. Then Oreo to vet. Aldi. Pay on hospital bill. Honestly, don't know what I will do when we get home.
  12. I'm sorry about your Aunt, euphraysne! Here is the link for the dinner from yesterday. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/558727897538600958/ I'm glad you are getting home life straightened out, Becca Anne. @Mt_Rider, about Oreo. We have to have him put down as he is still biting DH after 5.5 years. DH is concerned for his daughter and grandson when they come visit. Rough decision, but his previous abuse never went away. Good morning, family! Walked first. Vote in primary. Walked dogs. Work on cleaning in shed, today. Pretty easy, except for the shed part.
  13. I made it. It was fast and easy and very good! Recipe should be in link.
  14. You are all so busy! Tis the season! This will be dinner. Already walked today. Did 2 loads of laundry. Have 4 trays of sliced sweet potatoes dehydrating in oven for dog treats. Set up DH's pills for the next month. Still need to walk Oreo. We have him until Wednesday. Cook dinner.
  15. i love the little camper @Necie! Probably will be a big improvement over the van, once it is fixed up. @Mt_Rider, I hope you two can keep from getting real sick! I'm glad that your little problems are getting fixed @Jeepers! Already walked. Will take DH to Walmart for shower handle/ head. Walk dogs. Start cleaning in shed.
  16. Already walked, this morning. Will visit a friend who is cleaning out a freezer and has stuff to give me. Gong to make burgers for dinner. Not sure what else I will find to do. Rainy day all day.
  17. When I do dry pack, I don't coat anything. I put a small pat of butter in bottom of quart jar with salt and spices. Or I just put the salt and spices. Not much here, today. Already walked. Going to pick up trash at Church parking lot by road. Walk dogs. Bible study tonight.
  18. Already walked. Taking DH for CT scan of head and some bloodwork for his new neurologist. Lowes for a shower part for DH's bath. Thrift stores looking for couch. Home Health store for nebulizer cups.
  19. Do you mean "dry packing" @Littlesister? And pressure canning? I do that with potatoes, except shredded. Walked early, today. Handyman pressure washed house yesterday and is working on DH's shower this morning. Have the last load of laundry in the dryer. Will walk dogs in a bit. Then clean bathrooms. I'm so glad that your new chair is ordered @Momo! I'm sure that will give you a different perspective. I'm praying for your GS today, @Littlesister!
  20. Necie and Littlesister, You two are both so busy, it makes my head spin! I'm feeling like a slacker, these days. Yesterday was just regular Church day and walk the dogs. Already walked this morning. Handyman will be here soon to fix a couple of small issues inside house. And then pressure wash house for future painting. Later, is laundry Shovel city gutters so we don't flood when it rains later. Write my friend in Military.
  21. You all have been busy! That is a great haul, Annarchy! And your neighborhood certainly has the drama going on! Good luck getting those bags down the stairs, Jeepers! I would suggest double bagging them, but don't know if that is feasible. I hope all goes well for your grandson, Little sister. I'm just tired. Up early and walked, this morning. Went to a small Birthday party at 9 this morning for the fellow that I used to help, who owns a little convenience store. Came home and walked dogs. Unloaded the big cans in the back of car. Did month ending books for ebay. Still haven't changed DH's shower curtain. Maybe today
  22. Yesterday was a busy day. Monthly stock up at stores with my friend. Everything I bought was so heavy! Paid bills. Walked. Bible study. It's raining, this morning. Will walk later. Walk dogs. Change DH's shower curtain. A friend was given about 10 or so #10 cans of veggies that recently went out of date (best by date). I am getting them to re-can in pints at a later time. Best by dates don't scare me. Clean baths- maybe. Dust house- yes. Slice carrots for dog treats. You all, try to get a little rest!
  23. You're welcomed! Lessons learned should be shared!
  24. Wow! That sounds very unsafe to me and I color outside the lines pretty often. Won't be doing that @Necie!
  25. @Littlesister, We just changed home insurance companies, looking for more insurance than we had. We went to Progressive and found more insurance for the same money. Great! Paid them and then a few days later cancelled old insurance as per new company's instructions. A week later, a fellow from the actual new insurance company shows up to take photos. He says that if the new company decided not to insure us, we would have 45 days to find another company. Yikes! We thought that when we paid, it was a done deal. This week we received a letter letting us know we have insurance. Actually, a bill for $50 more as they will pay more for our concrete block shed, than they were going to, previously. So, beware before cancelling old insurance, no matter what you are told!
