Well since my mother passed away, my brothers and sisters and I have sort of parted ways. They are all against me because I wanted to pay mom's house off and try to keep them from losing it, somehow or other I became the bad person. Now, I only speak to my oldest db when I go to walmart where he works and I come across him, and my youngest sister, when she needs something she'll call. So I usually have Holiday dinners with dh's family members. I call our holidays, the Holiday of the Misfits .

Didn't post yesterday, have not been feeling well. I had a whopper of an anxiety attack, over all that has been going on, and the finances. Also have had the stomach flu which ds had last week. But am feeling some better. I think that our financial situation has knocked a knot in dh's --- (if Ya know what I mean). He is realizing now that he can't just going spending when the urge hits. That he has got to start saving and putting money back in case of emergencies. So maybe something good will come of this. But hopefully this week we can get back on track.... As long as we get the bills paid up and the car insurance reinstated, I will not worry about the rest. Oh well such is life. I was reading on the almanac weather forum, that there is possibly a major winter weather event supposed to hit around the 22nd of November. It looks to be from Texas up to the great lakes areas, I will find out more and let you know. Looks as if maybe even Tennessee may get into the picture with some icing.... In my ds second grade class, one of the students father was shipped out to Iraq this week. Our school is taking $1.00 donations to adopt the soldiers for christmas, they are going to send cards and candies too them....Instead of making just a $1.00 donation, we donated $10.00 to help out a little more than they may expect, hopefully other parents will follow suit...

Woke up to rainy dreary day and coold! Didn't win anything at bingo, but still had fun. I am up scanning the internet for different recipes for the Thanksgiving meal. loooking for a little something different, where the vegetables and sides go... We have ended up going to have company for Thanksgiving, it was just going to be me, dh and dkids. Now we will be adding dh's cousing and her dh. This is how our holiday goes, we don't plan on anything big, but then we end up adding one or two to the dinner list and by the time the dinner finally gets here, we are serving 10 to 15 people.... Theyd, before your dd came down with the symptoms listed, had she had any bouts with a sore throat or diahrrea, any kind of a viral or bacterial infection? Also, does she complain of tingling in her fingers or her legs. Is she having trouble with any weakness in her legs, having any problems walking? If so, please have her checked for Guillane Barre syndrome. When my mother come down ill with this, no one knew what it was or how to treat it. Luckily we came upon one doctor who had treated several cases of it...

I must have gotten confused, I had gotten the web link to vital chek.com from somewhere. I thought it was from this site... Vitalchek is what we used, It was on the state of Florida. It gave us all the information and you could pay online by credit card. So that is what we did, because we needed it as soon as we could get it. Got up and put together a quick breakfast (I had made pancakes for breakfast on Saturday, so made an extra batch for today's breakfast. While hubby watched the kids and his races, I went shopping and done some heavy duty stocking. Finished filling my meat freezer, It is absolutely full. I bought so many can goods that my pantry is over flowing, had to put some of the can goods in my bathroom cabinets ( we hardly use this bathroom except for grabbing a quick shower). But am pleased with my purchases, other than bread, milk and eggs we are stocked enough to run us at least 3 to 4 months. Decided to go ahead and stock up really well this week, dh has not worked at all this week and only a couple of days the week before, their equipment has been down( had to have new transmission put in work truck and backhoe broke down all at the same time). Now dh is down in his back, but he is planning on going to work tomorrow. I told him his problem is he is not used to sitting around for days on end. He needs to get up and move around some

kmart sales cloth diapers... I bought them there several times. and remember for the cloth diapers that you buy, and you never use for the baby. They make excellent kitchen towels...... Look on the very bottom shelf, usually where they sale the baby wash cloths and bathing towels for newborns....
