MtRider! I have the hottest internet access you can get! It's 103 right now!!!! Broadband--It's according to which way the wind is blowing whether I have it or not! And definitely not under our tin roof. Outside only! Martian Chick! I hope you and your hubby are feeling good now!

Praying for September to get here for the coolness or not-so-hotness anyway! While I have sat out here it is up to 103 from 100. Good for losing weight though. So far 25 pounds gone! Mostly from helping at the dairy I think. It's so good to hear your voices! I'll try to get some photos up this weekend in the morning so I don't overheat myself.

Left the dairy at noon today and did some housework. Now I am relaxing with a big glass of water outside in the 100 degree heat. Tomorrow I am taking the 2 schnauzers to get the hair out of their ears, glands expressed and toenails cut. For 1 dollar more apiece they get a bath so that will definitely happen! I'll do my shopping while they have their tubby. Cat, I am gad you have chickens again. I must have been out of here when that happened. Have a great day!

Hi again! Haven't been on here since May and now we get a signal sitting outside so I will try to get on once a week or so. I've been checking mail every couple of weeks and maybe facebook but it's hot out here! We are in our mobile home out in the country near bils ranch and it is beautiful! The dogs are fine and Buddy hasn't had a seizure for almost 3 months now. I think the Sam -E is healing his liver. Hoping to get a garden are disced up soon. I have been putting whey from the dairy on the area for a few weeks now. No chickens or goats yet. Eventually. We have some furniture. It is still easy to clean house since it is not overcrowded yet. AT&T is laying fiber optic cable right in front of our house but I can't get an answer as to when they will hook it up. We go into town about every week and a half and to Walmart about once a month. We made our wooden fence dog proof and I will have photos when I have a better connection. We built our porch railing, making one section a gate so we can open it to bring in furniture easier. DH has built some furniture. Next is a bookcase I think. I just want to say that I miss you all and think about you daily (and guiltily for not getting on here). Thanks for listening!

Thank you Jori!!!!!! You will do a great job!!!!!!! Thanks for all the kind thoughts! Every time I think we are going to finally make "the move" God moves the time line. Now we have to replace the radiator on the truck. --before we clean out the storage unit, do laundrey or move. We just keep getting up really early and doing the next right thing--then wait and see what happens next. June 6th will be a year we have been waiting. I will have internet until we move and dh thinks we might have it if we go outside of the house--metal roof. There is a library halfway close but with the one vehicle and the library is only open in the afternoons a few days a week. Very small town!

I've been doing the Birthdays for a while and love to do it (I love Birthdays). However, things are changing in my life right now. I leave at 6am and get home (right now) at about 8pm. We are moving out to our new home in a few days and I get no internet connection at all out there. So until I have something in order for internet I won't be available for much of anything. MomM and I have a system for posting Birthdays but I haven't seen her around lately. We go to the Birthday girl (or guys) profile and make sure they have been online in the past year. If so, we post them. I would sure appreciate someone picking up my slack at least until I get it together. And you know I'll miss you all while I'm internetless!!!!!!!!!

I'm saute`ing bell peppers, onions, jalapenos and tomatoes to go with dh's breakfast burritos, making pico de gallo for the week and then making chicken alfredo for dinner. That's about it besides a run to the little grocery store later. I was never a big Stones fan, more Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd.

Well, we're getting the rain now! Not much thunder and not too close. I helped out at the dairy today. Dipped cream cheese, bottled buttermilk, helped with some yogurt and washed bottles. My feet, legs and hips are not happy right now. Especially wearing new waterproof boots half the day. I prefer my easy spirits! Came home, had lunch and wet to turn in paper to get elec. turned on sometime soon and the paid for carpet for bedroom in the new house. Thank goodness we still had leftover salisbury steaks for dinner and I am off tomorrow! And yes, I definitely remember listening to that song on the radio!!!!!!

Quite hot and humid here, too! We took the pups this morning out to the new house to take all sorts of measurements inside and out. Then went to Tractor supply for new pink waterproof boots for me and some gloves. I will be helping at the dairy again starting this week--every once in a while. Found a glass sun tea jar at a thrift shop for a dollar. Then we went to lunch at Golden corral. I found 28 oz. diced tomatoes at my local store for 99 cents a can. I bought all 8 that they had. Now we are home and not going anywhere else today.
