Too busy to get on laptop yesterday. Still walked, of course. Had to be at health insurance agent's ofc. at 8:30 am. Tuesday she was sure that the new insurance was ok. Tuesday night she called her boss again and was told that the new insurance did not have a hospital anywhere in my area. So, I had to go back and switch back to previous plan after all. Had a few things to do in our little town, also. Calls to make, also etc. Today, I will walk first. Plant some snapdragons that I was given on Peanut's grave. Make and package banana breads for the rest of the day. It will be a long day, but that is what I give for Christmas gifts each year. I hope all your fixes go smoothly @Jeepers! I'm glad that you are getting somewhere @Littlesister! I hope you get finished up today. The multi day projects aren't a lot of fun, for sure.

@Littlesister, I made some out of plastic tablecloths for when I was washing bottles at the dairy. Those worked really well. Will walk first- early. See if local grocery saved me any over ripe bananas- I need about 50 for banana bread on Thursday. Pick up friend and go to appt. with health insurance agent to switch insurance back to humana. Stop at thrift shop to donate and then look for fake Christmas flowers for porch hanging baskets. Hit Walmart and Aldi for bananas and a few other needed items for National Banana Bread Day. Come home and walk dogs. Maybe get out some inside decorations- not many-, maybe not.

I used to make aprons out of tablecloths @Littlesister. They turned out nice.

Already found the recipe for what I will take to fellowship next Sunday-Funeral Potatoes. Will walk in a few minutes. Have to see my health insurance lady. I was told that our local hospital is in network, but insurance company says no. Need to change back to original company. Already have laundry going. Might decorate porch today, we will see. May run to town if insurance lady is available. I need about 50 bananas for the mass quantities of Christmas banana bread I will make Thursday.

I definitely won't rush, just continue on. Not getting another dog anytime soon. Oreo will have to be put down in the Spring as we can't get him in the car to go to the vet and he still bites DH. That will leave Aninja, a Chihuahua. At that time we will start looking. Oh yeah, and Charlie the cat nick- named El Destructo!

Sad news this morning. Little Peanut Butter passed away at 4:30 this morning. She was one happy and loved little dog! I've had dogs all my life and she has been my favorite since I first saw her! I will have a friend come over a bit later and dig a hole for her. She will be missed so much! I will go find my friend, first and stop at a yard sale at the local Catholic Church. A little later I will walk, weather permitting. We have gotten 2" of rain since last night. I still haven't written to my friend in the Military. Might decorate a little today, but not feeling it right now.

My little Peanut Butter (profile photo) took a turn for the worse, yesterday. She has had congestive heart failure, but shown very little signs of it for the past several months. Now her breathing is very labored even at rest. DH wants to wait until Monday to make a decision. I've started giving her a little bit of dandelion root powder and fish oil. She is till getting her mullein and milk thistle for her liver issues which have disappeared. I also opened a can of salmon and rinsed it well to tempt her to eat this morning. It may be too little too late. Not sure what else to do. I know she isn't mine to keep forever and God has left her with me an extra 5 months after the liver diagnosis. I'm thankful for that! I did walk this morning. Took my friend to local stores. Paid bills. Called an made appt. with home insurance company to come take photos and up the coverage for home. Still need to write a letter to friend in military.

I hope your arm feels better today, Littlesister! Going to walk in a few minutes. Pick up my friend and go do our monthly Walmart, Aldi, Dollar tree run. Come home and do second load of laundry. That should do me in.

Me too! Becca Anne! Except for the cat. Today, I will walk. Walk dogs. Do Laundry. Make Turkey Tetrazzini. Tree is fixed (for now). Have a fairly lightweight hard plastic pipe around repaired cord between tree and outlet. New rule is that if one of us isn't in the living room for awhile, kitty goes in his room.

Will walk first. Go to hardware store for mulch for Church flower bed. Local grocery for DH's bananas and then Post office. Cut carrots for dog treats. Order a pair of shoes for me. List a couple of items on ebay. Undecorate porch from Fall. That's enough for Monday!

I vote for all those solutions, but DH wanted the cat inside. And loose. We will see. Going to get a ghost pepper and see if that will slow him down.

Church. Walk dogs. Undecorate front porch. I'm a little depressed. Cat chewed the Christmas tree lights wire completely in half. Fixing it isn't really the problem. The cat will just do it again. Not real sure what to do at this point. Suppose I shouldn't have believed DH when he said it would be fine to put up a tree. Of course, he wanted the cat in the house, so he said what I wanted to hear.

I may add to it or not. Cat issues. @Jeepers, sorry but I can't get your name off this post. Don't know what happened.

Yesterday was leftovers. Today will be Italian tortilla rollup.

Good morning! Will walk first. Pick up trash from parking lot at Church. Shovel leaves out of gutters uphill from our house. Hit local Dollar General for a few bargains. Decorate front porch- I put up tree yesterday. Wrap a couple of gifts to mail out. @Necie, Wonderful photos! Looks like you all had so much fun! @Mt_Rider, That is too cold for this FL girl! @Jeepers, I hope you have had a wonderful time and are home soon and safely!

We had a great day, yesterday and very good meal. I have now convinced myself that I won't be making a huge meal for a few people all by myself- ever again. My heart feels lighter, already! It's a good thing as we will do something simpler and much easier in the future! This morning, I will walk first. Walk dogs. Package and freeze leftover turkey. Most of it. Wrap a few Christmas presents to mail. put up Christmas tree. No cooking today!

Today, I am baking a stuffed (regular stuffing) turkey. Small pan of cornbread dressing. Shrimp and grits dressing--this is just for me, no one else will eat it. Mashed potatoes with homemade gravy. Green bean casserole. Thawed a package of Hawaiian rolls. Yesterday, made a pumpkin crunch dessert and baked a frozen sweet potato casserole that was gifted to me. I will give out some leftovers and we will have leftovers for weeks- some will be frozen.

Will walk first. Prepare side dishes. Walk dogs. Put turkey in oven at 11 am. I bake it in a turkey bag. Pick up friend to come visit. Have dinner and deliver a plate to a friend who opted to stay at home in her pajamas, as I take my friend home. Watch Christmas Vacation! You all have a great day!

That is a lot all at once! No flooding at all. That gets us about 1/3 of the way out of the drought. Supposed to rain again, Sunday. Probably not as much. Thanks for checking!

I'll walk in a few minutes. DH has therapy this morning. Doc removed the staples from his hip, yesterday. Says he is doing great! Next, will run around locally for a few errands. Fertilize flowers at Church, renew DH's handicap placard, stores for cream cheese and rug runner for DH, bank to put copy of cancelled deed in safe deposit box (YAY). Do laundry. Make pumpkin dessert for tomorrow. Set up ingredients for a couple of side dishes for tomorrow. Make a few phone calls and call it a day.

Will walk in a few minutes. Take DH to doctor appt. to get staples removed from hip. VA clinic to pick up some paperwork. Walmart. Home and walk dogs. Might start decorating a little. That is exactly what I do. Works pretty well, but usually looks pretty bad by the time I start a new one.

We got rain! Right at 5"! Some thunder and wind, but not too bad. Now it will get cooler.

Walked first. Will take friend to local grocery. DH has therapy. Set up DH's meds for the month. Start to thaw turkey in fridge. Slow day!
