I've been prepping for a few years now, but I still feel like I have heaps to learn. I've got pretty good food stores and I've just ordered a grain mill, so now I need to source some wheat. I'm in Australia, so when I read of what some of you buy your food for, I could almost cry. Plus we are limited on what products are available. For eg. I just purchased a foodsaver. Without going to expensive commercial ones, I had the choice of 2, the Foodsaver VAC420 or VAC550. And I can't get the widemouth jar sealers here, I'll have to try and get one from the US. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute something to the forum in return for all the great info I've had from it. Bluedogz Link to comment
