Mt_Rider
....I was expecting to find a thread about some new device like the canned goods rolling bins. The fur-face device wasn't what I was thinking of. CUTE! Reminds me of the raccoons that used to be very frustrated on our porch.... rolling the 5 gallon bucket of dog food [with gamma lid] around but couldn't get the goods! Noisy at 3 AM! You know it's good when raccoons can't break your security! MtRider .....awwww! Quote Link to comment
lovinit
Be grateful, our "furry faces" can open the cupboard doors. I'm glad they haven't figured out how to open jars. I wanna seeeeeee the furry face, please........... Quote Link to comment
lovinit
My daughter was missing things from her pantry, sure she had just put them away. She found the "empty" containers for raisins and cranberries, in our year old grandson's locker and play room. Quote Link to comment
Annarchy
LOL lovinit, Some of the other ferrets we had years ago, opened any drawers and cabinets. We were forced to put hook and latches on many of them. Quote Link to comment

kappydell
LOL! Child-proof cabinets deter more than two legged children! (I had a cat who could open cabinets, too, until I put child proof lock on. She even learned hot to work the hook & eye latch I tried first!) Do they share mousies when they catch them? My newest pup (austrailian shepherd) proudly brought me one tonight to admire. Had a devil of a time getting him to drop it - he liked his new 'toy'... Quote Link to comment

Annarchy
LOL kappydell. Your puppy sounds delightful. Yes ferrets can undo the hook and eye. We had a group of ferrets - known as a business - who figured out how to undo the latches, climb in to the bottom drawer, push the drawer above it open enough to climb up into it, then use the upper drawer to climb on to the bed. Crazy little creatures. One day, DH saw one of the girls playing with something in the hall. She would pounce and bounce back, pounce and bounce back. We got up to see what she was playing with. It turned out to be a scorpion. By the time we got to her, it was dead because she had impaled it numerous times. Quote Link to comment
