HMMMMMM SHE WASN'T NAPPING AFTER ALL SHE WAS IN THE SHOWER.. THAT'S HOW ATTENTIVE I AM...

Ok now that's just scarey.. I took put some roasts in the crockpot last night and made vegetable soup for tonight.And will be making cornbread to go with it.. I think tomorrow I will make beef and noodles with the extra beef.. But dh is wanting bbq.. I was thinking the beef and noodles would go further. Dh and Ds went to town.. They were having a thing called Hammer In.. Bunch of black smiths and that kinda thing at the park. The girls and I stayed home so they could have a guy day. It was free and something they could enjoy together. So I am in my room playing online. Lil Dd is in watching tv and big dd must be napping and listening to her radio.. We are doing dishes and while we are resting. Have a great night everyone!

My girls go back on the 20th. And Ds goes back the 24th.. They are all ready to go back. Took them to the Dr this afternoon.DS needed his ADD meds and DD needed a physical before entering High School. The twins need booster shots too. Lil DD can't wait for school to start! Been hearing about it every single day for the last 2 weeks. Ever since we went school shopping! I am glad she is excited , I hope she always enjoys it.

Thanks for that site. The kind I am looking for is all one piece it doesn't have a waist line in it. You slip it on over your head and arms.. and it does tie in back . If I can get some good batteries in order to work my digital cam I would send you a picture of them. Oh and by the way I am puffy... I wear a size 22.. no you can get something similiar at like Rural King or Farm and Fleet. It's not a Victorio but it's the same thing. You can buy it for less than 50 dollars there. And I think the screens for different things are like 14 dollars a piece.

Ok i just noticed they weren't bib aprons.. Do you have a link that shows how to make those? Maybe you have a pattern that you could trace and send me???? I guess I should have mentioned when Grammie died there was a box of aprons of all kinds...... They sit up in the very top of my closet... I will cherish them all until the day I die.

She was 97 when she passed away last year. But I do wear them. I can't help it. It's who I am. My mom always said I was born in the wrong century. Oh thanks for sending that link on how to make one. I am not very lets say I am not..... Well I am domestically challenged when it comes to sewing..I can do alot.. I can cook up a storm I can do canning,baking you name it. But I just can't sew.. Shame on me. I inherited dh's grammies threadle sewing machine. But I am limited on what I can do with it. I am going to go and check out that link and see if I can find someone to sew me a dozen out of that dollar material from walmart! Better yet maybe I can find someone to teach me..

I did 13 quarts of grape juice yesterday out of free grapes I got from my sisters house. And after more than 10 years of canning I learned something new! I mentioned this in another post elsewhere but, apparently the rack that holds the jars fits on the rim of the canner and sits there until you lower it. Now mind you I did alot of canning with my mom but I never remember her using that. I think that's because her canner didn't have the rack that lifts out it just had the trivet like thing that sat on the bottom of the pan. To keep the jars from breaking. I have offically ran out of things to can. Since my tomatoes got eaten by the bugs I won't have any to put up for winter. I got 4 quarts of juice.. I guess that it's better than nothing.. What's everyone else canning this week?

Good Morning everyone! What a wonderfuly beautiful day here today. The sun is shining yet it feels like october out! I started my list last evening. We started cleaning on the yard. That's the biggest thing that seems to get sidestepped when the weather is so hot out. We had this washer out on the sidewalk for 2 years now. Going on the third winter. Well I made him get it out of here last night. I said I love to see you do manual labor.. Dh said you just love to make me work period.. I reminded him one time he told me that I needed to put my foot in his hiney every now and then! So per our agreement I tried to oblige him. LOL.. I don't have anything to can today so it looks like it's gonna be a laundry day... Wonder if I have any ham so I can put some split peas in the crockpot? I don't have any potatoes to make potato soup but it does look like a soup day to me... Maybe I will just settle for bacon and beans and be done with it. I hope everyone is enjoying this fall like weather. Mommafitz.. I remember when my son played JFL.. Those coaches were horrid.. Snowy I hope that pooh and tigger get better today..
