Just getting ready to order a Hamilton Beach 6 speed stand mixer with paddle, dough hook and whip from Walmart $79.99. I just can't afford twice the price right now and the attatchments are not plastic.

Got an adapter for the mifi today (for the antennae) to make it stronger. Wrong one. Hopefully just a few more days. Trying to post a new baby photo. Won't let me do it. Again, hopefully soon.

We have a 2002 model and it has a better wind rating than older models. Important since we are in hurricane area. I keep doing the spray insulation thing but the mice still find a way in. Bar bait outside sounds like a good idea to me!

I still wash out all sizes of baggies if they did not have raw meat in them. Don't use dryer sheets as putting vinegar in with the wash does a better job of softening and no static. Most of the others I do or have done.

I'll talk to dh again but I think it is more leaving him with all responsibilities for Bils ranch and our house and animals too. The ranch can be physically and time consuming both without the dogs and home stuff. I will definitely let you all know soon as long as we aren't blown away tomorrow.

Mt. Rider, of course I will keep my promise!!!! I would love to come but my finances aren't what they were when I was working in AZ. DH and I did a lot of talking but I don't see it happening. I was really wanting to help with the cheesemaking since I have been doing that here at the dairy. fI hope you all have the best time!!!!!! And know I will really miss seeing you all again and meeting Ma Steel, CGA and youngun and the other newcomers!!!!!!! Bet no one will miss my camera though!!!!!!LOL

You guys are scaring me! Just starting my first garden ever. The ground is disced and half the fence up. It's only about 30'X30' so I guess if nothing works, it isn't that much of a loss. We hope to till this week and fertilize and get going soon after. Wormie, I'm so sorry such a large garden did not do well! I hope your next one makes up for it!!!!

Praying for September to get here for the coolness or not-so-hotness anyway! While I have sat out here it is up to 103 from 100. Good for losing weight though. So far 25 pounds gone! Mostly from helping at the dairy I think. It's so good to hear your voices! I'll try to get some photos up this weekend in the morning so I don't overheat myself.

Left the dairy at noon today and did some housework. Now I am relaxing with a big glass of water outside in the 100 degree heat. Tomorrow I am taking the 2 schnauzers to get the hair out of their ears, glands expressed and toenails cut. For 1 dollar more apiece they get a bath so that will definitely happen! I'll do my shopping while they have their tubby. Cat, I am gad you have chickens again. I must have been out of here when that happened. Have a great day!

Hi again! Haven't been on here since May and now we get a signal sitting outside so I will try to get on once a week or so. I've been checking mail every couple of weeks and maybe facebook but it's hot out here! We are in our mobile home out in the country near bils ranch and it is beautiful! The dogs are fine and Buddy hasn't had a seizure for almost 3 months now. I think the Sam -E is healing his liver. Hoping to get a garden are disced up soon. I have been putting whey from the dairy on the area for a few weeks now. No chickens or goats yet. Eventually. We have some furniture. It is still easy to clean house since it is not overcrowded yet. AT&T is laying fiber optic cable right in front of our house but I can't get an answer as to when they will hook it up. We go into town about every week and a half and to Walmart about once a month. We made our wooden fence dog proof and I will have photos when I have a better connection. We built our porch railing, making one section a gate so we can open it to bring in furniture easier. DH has built some furniture. Next is a bookcase I think. I just want to say that I miss you all and think about you daily (and guiltily for not getting on here). Thanks for listening!

Thank you Jori!!!!!! You will do a great job!!!!!!! Thanks for all the kind thoughts! Every time I think we are going to finally make "the move" God moves the time line. Now we have to replace the radiator on the truck. --before we clean out the storage unit, do laundrey or move. We just keep getting up really early and doing the next right thing--then wait and see what happens next. June 6th will be a year we have been waiting. I will have internet until we move and dh thinks we might have it if we go outside of the house--metal roof. There is a library halfway close but with the one vehicle and the library is only open in the afternoons a few days a week. Very small town!

I've been doing the Birthdays for a while and love to do it (I love Birthdays). However, things are changing in my life right now. I leave at 6am and get home (right now) at about 8pm. We are moving out to our new home in a few days and I get no internet connection at all out there. So until I have something in order for internet I won't be available for much of anything. MomM and I have a system for posting Birthdays but I haven't seen her around lately. We go to the Birthday girl (or guys) profile and make sure they have been online in the past year. If so, we post them. I would sure appreciate someone picking up my slack at least until I get it together. And you know I'll miss you all while I'm internetless!!!!!!!!!
