Will walk, soon. Do laundry. Call about changing homeowners insurance company. Thawed chili for dinner, so no cooking today. Honestly, have nothing else on list. Yay! I have a lot of threads and topics to catch up on here. Will work on that, this afternoon!

@Mt_Rider, it got down to 11 and 13 degrees, respectively. Too cold for aloe that is potted. We have been warm this week, but cooling down a bit now.

Walked early today. Picked up trash in parking lot at Church and dug up some flowers that froze along the walkway. Not going to re-plant anything for awhile. Picked up prescriptions and then picked up friend and we went to local grocery for sales. Came home and walked dogs. Put new tag on DH's car. I still need to re-pot aloe vera that did not freeze last week. Figure out what to cook tomorrow! I'm tired!

Got fingerprinted this morning. Will tell about the job if or when I get it. Will walk in a bit when rain stops. 5" so far and more later. Will re-pot aloe Vera that froze. Bible study this evening.

Better sleep last night. 5 .75 hours Walked early to avoid rain, this morning. Walmart this afternoon and then Dr. Appointment for DH. Stop and see VA advocate on the way home.

Woohoo! I got 2 hours and 45 minutes sleep last night. Still was up at 4 am. I will walk soon while it is not raining. Have a local clinic follow up appt. at 9 am. Hopefully getting the fingerprints done after doctor. Walk dogs (if and when it isn't raining. Make turkey tetrazzini for dinner. I hope to sleep some tonight! I wonder how Kappy and Mary are doing?

@Ambergris, how are you feeling today? I hope, much better! @Jeepers, please use a cleaning service! Think of it as helping the people who clean, rather than you being lazy. And as you haven't been well, it would be better not to stress yourself mentally or physically! You won't be feeling depressed once you have it done! Walked first, this morning. Have laundry going. Will put some stuff away in pantry and finish undecorating front porch. You all have a good week!

Walk at some point. Fold one load of laundry. Pressure can the tortellini and sauce. Make a sugar free dessert with cool whip. Make gumbo. It's an inside kind of day!

I love the dulcimer @Jeepers! Ended up with a fourth busted water pipe, yesterday. Haven't had hot water since Monday and no water for the last two days. Good thing I store water in gallon jugs for hurricanes. This too, will pass. All pipes fixed at this point. Will walk first. Get finger printed for possible part time job. Walk dogs. Clean house a little. Make phone calls for concrete fix for driveway. Call plumbers about re-plumbing under house with pex piping. Do some inventory in shed to bring canned goods list up to date. Thaw shrimp and sausage to make gumbo tomorrow. Three more nights of cold and then back to mid 30's to 50's for lows.

Not sure about today. It's still iced outside. 13 degrees. Maybe walk later. Maybe go to town later to see VA advocate, if she is in the office. We will call first. This cold is cramping my style!

17 degrees at 5:30 this morning! Pretty much staying home, today. If it's clear and not icy, I might walk over to Courthouse and get DH's tag renewed. DH is out of bananas, but may be out until tomorrow, if I am unable to walk to store. I'm considering pressure canning some dried tortellini with spaghetti sauce if I am bored.

That sounds like me! Always something to do and not always enough time or ambition! I do a lot of dump cakes for Church gatherings.

Nothing major, yesterday. Church and walk dogs. Will cover outside faucets , later. Do last load of laundry when it warms up a little Walk when it gets up to about 40 degrees. Will get down to about 16 degrees tonight (now it says 15, going down), with a little icy rain. That's pretty cold for this area. Continued extra cold for about a week, then warm up a little. Will have a taco salad, this eve made with home canned taco meat and salsa! You all, have a great week and stay warm! I feel whiney, talking about my temps and seeing some of yours!

I forgot to tell you that I sure appreciate all the info about the jeep @Jeepers! Unfortunately, here in the middle of nowhere, it's not going to work. But thanks.

You gave me some good ideas for making the veggie soup with oats, later today! I will use my own chicken broth, a quart of collard greens and a quart of okra, onion, tomato medley. A handful of oats and a handful of noodles and some spices will finish it.

Basically veggie soup with a few oats and a small handful of noodles. That is great news! Where do you take your jeep to get such great service and so many things done? Very light day, today! Will walk first. Do year end personal filing. Walk dogs. Put away 22 quarts of pressure canned dog food from yesterday. Bible study tonight.

Today, I will pressure can dog food that I made yesterday. Will walk when it gets up to 35 degrees or so. Walk dogs. Maybe set up personal filing folder, maybe not. Trying to take it a little easier today. Yesterday was very busy, but I accomplished more than I thought possible. We ended up with 4.25" rain over the night before last. Windy and chilly when we were in town, but traffic was a breeze and not many folks out. That was what I hoped would happen! I hope everyone can keep warm and safe with the next storm coming!

Already cut up carrots, sweet potatoes, chicken breasts and chicken livers for dog food. And browned the hamburger. Will wait until late this afternoon to start it. Hope we don't lose electric (big winds today), if so, I will wait to make dog food until tomorrow. I am not doing my regular walk today- too windy and crappy out. I am picking up friend and going to town to pay a bill and shop, maybe lunch. Will be out in the cold for a lot of the day. I think that it won't be too busy at most places. Start dog food this evening.

Will walk in a few minutes. Start laundry. Work on personal and ebay year end filing. It's supposed to start raining/ storming around noon and continue through tonight. I have everything charged that I can. Cooking is done for as long as needed. Ready to stay home. I had never seen those carts with 3 wheels on the back. Very interesting! And I agree @Mt_Rider, disabilities are hard times.
