Christy Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 short version, rheumy prescribed Butrans plasters for the pain. She forgot I'm allergic to opioids. Bad case, went down, son ripped plaster off and had to recover a few days. DS and me came down with flu straight after that. he dehydrated between crohn and flu and I never noticed being out cold in my bed. we're still alive and not really kicking but getting there. thanks for thinking of me, I very much appreciate it. If you can get some its good in a glass of water each day. I hope you and your son feel better and better each day this week! Link to comment

Really good of you to think about this and let me know. Tricky part is, both DS and me are on immune suppressants. Rock and a hard place eh? Either full blown auto-immune or suppressed immune with vulnerability to virus. No worries, we'll be fine and are doing better already.
