Jeepers..lol..I'm sure you're not a fool either. It is beautiful and sunny today but a bit chilly. I've been trying to get some inside stuff done. I made a nice large supper so DH is happy. I don't make large meals very often anymore. It's just the two of us so I have cut back on making lots of side dishes and seldom make a dessert. I go to the dentist tomorrow for a cleaning. Not looking forward to it as I suspect they will find that I need some more work. DH has still quit smoking after his hospital stay last month. I am so glad. I hope he can keep it up forever.

I posted for two weeks since we missed last week. I hope someone has been able to keep up with their walking program!

Wal Mart is giving out free cupcakes in honor of your birthday(no matter when that is)! Given out today only for everyone from 12-4 pm.

I'm glad ours isn't closing. I got a great deal there once on a no name dryer. It has been trouble free for 10 years.

We had to go into town for tests for DH. For some reason his bloodwork for his many ailments is better..even after a week in the hospital and a bad case of bronchitis. I am so thankful! We had a bad storm on the way home. We just pulled over in a parking lot and rode it out. Hard to believe a few months ago we were in a drought. Jeepers enjoy those babies! I love the names of Thelma and Louise for the pygmies.

I didn't get the warning just now!!! Yeah!

Congrats Granny Sass! Do we have a name yet? Yesterday was my bday and Dh forgot. I wasn't mad with him though since he was just getting out of the hospital and all. He took me out for a nice lunch in town. It has been awhile since we had done something like that. He is doing so much better but is still getting real tired. It is gonna be 32 degrees tonight after a few weeks of very warm weather. What a crazy winter. WE2 we are both still coughing too but it is getting better!

Are you losing your J.C.Penney store? The nearest full size store closed a few weeks back because they are demolishing and redeveloping the old mall. JCP hasn't announced any plans to reopen nearby. We have a mini JCP store here in the country but it mainly sells clothes and shoes. No household goods at all. I haven't heard if it was closing or not. Things sure are changing fast in retail.

Hoping to get back to "normal" after DH being in the hospital last week. I crashed last night. It was the best sleep I have had in two weeks. Today I have to schedule and reshcedule a bunch of DH's Dr. appts. Tonight I am making a nice real meal. Hubby's appetite is back to normal so it will be a meat and three again. I am sitting here waiting for the official call that DH will be released from the hospital this afternoon. He got the flu nearly 2 weeks ago and got a terrible case of bronchitis. Since he already has copd it has been rough on him. I am wore out from all the Dr.s, ER, hospital etc. It is hard for me since I am in a wheelchair and have no help but somehow we made it through again. The pets will all go nuts when he gets home today! They sure miss their Daddy! Thank God he is getting well. When you get older this stuff can be very dangerous.

I am thinking of you in these difficult times.

I just bought a new HP about 6 months ago with Windows 10. I have not had any problems with it and I am not very "techie" so I am glad about that! My model isn't a Pavilion though. I did get a dvd thingie but haven't used it yet. I checked the Dummy book out from the library and it was very informative. Happy Computing!

Humana pulled out of Obamacare already in our state. Here you can have Blue Cross OR Blue Cross. This is statewide. My premiums are awful and i can't afford to use the insurance anyway. I go to the Dr. once a year for the free wellness visit just so I can get my prescriptions refilled. I use generic blood pressure pills which are 10$ every 3 months without using insurance. I do need insulin which I cannot afford even with insurance. Right now I am finishing off a stockpile I managed to build up using drug program deals which only last for 2 years. They were a 25$ copay which is changing to a $150.00 copay. I've got to find a new strategy to get more insulin. Never ending fun.

It sounds like a sickness report here at MrsS..lol. Dh came down with the flu Monday. He went to the Dr. yesterday since he thought it was bronchitis. They did the test and it's flu. Poor baby has bad cold symptoms but at least he is still eating. He gotten thin enough lately that I worry about him not eating enough. I have alot of phone work to do today. I dislike calling folks so much any more! We had 4 heart and lung tests set up for Friday and Monday. He won't be well enough for that. Plus we have a problem with the pharmacy. I guess I better start calling before they all go to lunch. At least it is a beautiful day outside! Have a great day all!

I noticed that the posts I made yesterday aren't showing today. I'm still getting the deceptive site warning too. Sometimes computers are a real pain. You have my sympathies Annarchy!
