Jo Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 Yup, I'm in Alberta. There's actually only 2 midwives in the entire city, and 2 more 30 minutes away. DH wants the baby born in a hospital with a "real" doctor...that's why I want someone like Pixie there, to boss the doctors and nurses when they try to do things I don't want (I'm terrified of epidurals and epistiotomies).
