You all are so inspiring and I enjoy learning. I am a wife, mama, and grandma 55 yrs of age. We are a big family and all made the decision to be prepared by the end of this year come what may. I teach basic living skills such as sewing, quilting, soap, candle making, butchering meat and dressing it, first aid, compass, map reading, drivng and finally coping skills.(whew! that a mouth full)LOL All the above I do at no charge, my students provide their supplies only. My teaching is by word of mouth and I love it as it keeps my skills honed. DH and I have been interested in survival for 16 years now. I have read, learned and practiced as much as possible. I am a gatherer, who loves reading, gardening, cooking, camping, hunting, fishing, scrapbooking and genealogy. Looking forward to learning and sharing with everyone. Thanks Jakesnana Link to comment
