  3. Well since the move I am no longer working outside the home. I have started making my own homemade cleaning products. I did a few before but I am trying to make everything from scratch. One of the conditions of me not working is I have a very limited budget for groceries and cleaning products. I am hoping to stay below budget so I don't have to go back to work.
  4. Yeast breads don't help either. You can always try and old wives tale trick and cut an onion and put next to their bed. It is supposed to attract the bacteria. I can't say if it works, I have just hear this all my life.
  5. If you get a 4wd make sure it has a towing package yes it will cost more but since you may need to pull something it is best to have the towing package built in instead of adding it later. With the built in towing package the brakes will be adjusted and you will also have a light adapter for the tail lights. We had a jeep liberty loved it but hubby couldn't work on it we had to put it in the shop for everything. We ended up getting rid of it. I would love to have an old jeep that we could work on. My dream vehicle is a jeep wrangler.
  6. I had an experience like this a while back and I just thought it was because I ordered something for dil before here and son were married. I thought it was because it came to my address but in her name thank goodness she just handed me the paper work that was with it. Now I click gift even if it is for me.
  7. I am reading some seedy magazine LOL I got my Baker Creek Heirloom Seed catalog last week and can't put it down.
  8. You need to ask yourself do you want that kind of relationship again. You divorced him once what is to say it won't be the same again.
  9. 2012...the good the bad and the ugly... It was a life changing year for us. #3 son got married, we both quit out jobs thinking we were moving to TN only at the last moment had that dream shattered, ended up in Texas. Which turned out to be a much better move for us. All I can say is bring on 2013 with the Good Lord's help we can handle anything thrown at us...ok so the Lord can handle anything thrown at us you will find me curl in a blubbering ball in the corner while He slays the dragons.
  10. I am sorry for you loss...hugs and prayers sent your way.
  11. We got a couple of inches last night of the white powder stuff and it was still coming down a couple hours ago.
  12. Windmom your ornie is now front and center on the tree.
  13. ROFL sounds like you are having one of my days. Had the oil changed in the truck a couple of weeks ago and it started leaking oil woke up this morning to a big puddle of oil under the truck. Hubby missed work to day to deal with it. Turns out they put the wrong oil filter on. Then this morning I locked myself out of our online banking program. Sigh, the world may not have ended but it sure has turned out to be a bad luck day LOL.
  14. Amen, makes one feel good when you hear stories like this and we need more of these stories especially now.
  15. Thanks ladies for sharing these links and the good news. We have been so inundated with negative news lately that it has really put a damper on my joy. You have brightened my day with the good news. Thank you.
  16. On the left hand side you should be able to select how far back you want to go. When I first logged it I got the same error but when I selected past 24 hours instead of since my last visit I got all the stuff I was looking for.
  17. I know there is a tent city in the Raleigh area. One of the local churches has started a church there is it called A Church in the Woods http://www.churchinthewoods.net/
  18. Men! Didn't we discuss them on another thread LOL
