OldMaineBear
Here's my new digs. It's about an acre and a half clearing in the forest. Off a secondary road and not visible from the road at the end of a 500' driveway. Only flowers in a garden this year, but a veggie garden going in next year. It's all wood heat. Loving it!!!! 1141-FrontofHouse.jpg 1142-BackofHouse.jpg 1143-Barn-Shed-Workshop.jpg 1144-M'Lady'sFlowerGarden.jpg 1145-SouthView.jpg Link to comment

Amishway Homesteaders
Love the solor water heater(hose) on the roof! Outdoor shower or what? ~Michael~ Link to comment
OldMaineBear
Nice catch AH. It feeds from the deep well into the hot water heater so we don't burn as much electricity heating that ice cold water. It works great. The trouble is that it's only seasonal. -40 degrees in the winter kinds slows the heating process. For 7 months though it works fine. And yes, I am one contended Bear here. Link to comment
Cat
I noticed the solar water heater right away, too. Funny... I'll bet a lot of people would just think you're *odd* and messy!! LOL And who did the face? It sure ain't Kilroy!! Looks comfy and cozy! Where do you want the Spam delivered??? Link to comment
OldMaineBear
Just load it in the back of my pick up truck. I'll take it into camp. I am odd. My wife does not allow messy. The face was a collaboration of her two sons with spray paint and some free time. Link to comment
