As our dogs age, and become more infirm, we began to consider getting a 3rd dog, to ease that transition when our oldest (12)dog passes on. Our younger dog (9) is very mentally dependent on the old dog, and would take it very hard to be an only dog. Our friend in Rescue, suggested it might be a good time to add a young female into the household to better merge with 2 old bachelor dogs. We found one and were approved for her adoption. We picked her up last night. Her new name is Shiloh. She is not quite a purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback, but she is close. We don't mind the mixed bit, as our other two RR's are both of uncertain parentage too! So here she is...Shiloh. Not the greatest pic but the good ones are stuck in my phone...oh well!
