Please talk to your children about others touching their bodies. If I hadn't done this, it could have gone on much longer, and if someone else had talked earlier it might not have happened to my child. I can't even begin to explain how much pain this has caused, although it has helped that the man has confessed and is now in jail. Now for the counseling and healing to begin. Dawn Link to comment

Cowgirl Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 No one should ever hurt a child - it is a horrific thing. I'm glad you are getting your child into counseling. My sister was harmed as a young child, but back then they didn't have counseling like they do now (in the bad old days they blamed the victim more than they do now). I'm sure that with love and prayer and counseling your child will come through this. You and your family are in my prayers. Link to comment
